I am currently in Yoga Teacher Training and my desire is to be an amazing yoga teacher by inspiring all young and old. My fear is letting go of my ego and accepting my poses.

Every time I watch my yoga teachers, their poses are pure perfection and I feel mine are not. My affirmation— I am confident and content. I breathe it in and let it go. Thank you for your support on my journey! Thank you Erin. I have had an abundance of notebooks for years, always with the intention of starting a journal, but I have never lasted more than a day or so, nor have I ever written anything of substance. Today I have written what my biggest block is to receiving, something I have never committed to paper before, and have written for ten minutes an affirmation, which evolved the more I wrote it, to help overcome this block, and feel that I have finally had the courage to admit to myself in writing, what my problem has been.

I desire to be a writer. I desire to write a book to completion.

Is There Science Behind Them?

I fear both failing and succeeding at this task. I fear being ridiculed. I fear I am not good enough. I am a mom of 6 and someone who has overcome being hit by a car when I was a teen with dozens of resultant surgeries. I thought I was strong. I thought I was a survivor. And then Lyme disease hit our house. It has ripped through our family causing arthritis, pain, skin problems, mental problems and a host of other ailments.

As a writer, I have a lot to say on how to cope with Lyme disease. Yeah, and what woman ever wants to be seen as weak and frail. Thank you for what you do. My desire is to practice my purpose with passion and fulfillment. My thing I want most is to be a paid writer. My affirmation is my writing is good enough and I am receiving enough compensation to support our wants and needs.

Hi Erin. I keep thinking and writing and thinking. My fear is that I am able to devote the time necessary to doing it full time. If anything, I would like very much to incorporate the two. I currently work as a Job Coach for a 29 year old man with severe Autism. My affirmation is Art Saves. I am capable of and creative enough to imagine and design a job position in the Art field that is right for me that also helps others. I desire to live the healthiest life possible.

I need to put myself as a priority. I really struggle to exercise for me… I walk the dog or run with the kids but I want to prioritize and care for my body again. From washing my face, wearing makeup, practicing meditation, swimming, dancing… All the things I love… My affirmation for this needs development.

The only thing I can think of is: I will find a way. I always thought I was dumb, even when I was 6 while my teachers gave lovely comments on how I was doing so well… Where did I get this from? My talent. When I finally decided to work towards an independent life being my own boss , I became sick and now, over 7 years later..

Positive changes. And nobody is going to take that from me. I am strong and focused and my mind is sharp. I maintain healthy boundaries. I am safe and at peace. My work brings me joy and increases the improvement in my health.
